GAM Pattern and Glass adapters are designed to adapt existing sizes of metal or glass patterns to fit into devices that are a
slightly different size. Dimensional information shown below is in inches and millimeters. The outside overall diameter is shown. The inside diameter is of the glass or metal pattern that will be adapted to the larger size. For example, custom glass patterns are traditionally made in two sizes, 3 inches and 3-1/8 inches. GAM has two adapters that allow you to take these glass patterns and fit them into a conventional, 3-3/8 inch, B size pattern holder. The glass or metal pattern being mounted in the adapter is held under the 3 tabs. First bend the tab up, set the glass or metal pattern into the ring, then bend the remaining lip of the tab over the glass ormetal pattern to hold it in place.
